Zero Waste Events is a service provided by the social enterprise called Zero Waste in a Box.  Zero Waste Events has been in operation since 2011 and has managed the waste and recycling from over 110 events in Wales and the Marches, with repeat business from our events every year.

 

Our Zero Waste Events service was established in order to help events to reduce their environmental impact by cutting the waste sent to landfill and to help events communicate their desire to tread lightly to all stakeholders including visitors, exhibitors, volunteers, caterers and contractors.

 

We have steadily expanded our capacity and now support 25 events a year.

 

Our bespoke and professional approach to waste management and recycling has been developed over the last 6 years into a service which helps events to achieve at least 70% recycling rate for total waste arising.
